Our Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation and Harrisonburg Economic Development did a great job on the tour showing off our city! It was a proud moment to highlight the love shown by our residents toward the nonprofit community. Today we will raise $2 Million dollars as a collective community between Harrisonburg, VA - and Rockingham County. That’s a lot of love and care! ... See MoreSee Less

LAUNCH HARRISONBURG applications are due April 15th. This is a fantastic program that has helped "launch" many entrepreneurs in Harrisonburg. Don't take our word for it though, hear from graduate Morgan Gross. Morgan recently opened Valley Creative Reuse on S. High Street. "LAUNCH was exactly what I was looking for to help me pull everything together to get my vision off the ground. My vision was workshopped throughout the 10 weeks, a strong motivator to continue to have the "customer conversations" I had been working on already, and by the end of the 10 weeks, my vision was ready to come to life. I launched social media for Valley Creative Reuse within a month of completing LAUNCH, and within 6 months opened the doors of Harrisonburg's first creative reuse space, an art & craft supplies thrift store + more. I can't recommend LAUNCH highly enough-- and the best part was being able to do this in community, along with entrepreneurial peers and the guidance of our experienced facilitators."
